Relationship Recovery

As a Licensed Therapist, I have 100's of hours of professional training, However, I believe the best preparation for helping others with relationship recovery is surviving an abusive relationship and living to see your own life thrive after the experience.   Unless you've lived through a destructive relationship, it can be hard to understand what it's iike to actually go through the process of relationship recovery.  Others don't understand why we "don't just leave, get over it and get on with our lives."
